Changelog: (27/11/2009) The updated client contains some new features like: File transfer and Improved Compression. File transfer obviously is a nice feature if you need to quickly beam up your newly taken photo to your friend and you don't want to be restricted by the size of the photo (as in, you can transfer bigger files than before). And our new compression will save you a bit of costs in terms of battery consumption and data consumption. We've measured the data consumption to be about 60% less of what it was with the previous version. We've also made some progress on the user experience improvements requested. You'll notice that in the Contacts tab, there are now three quick buttons to see a friend's profile (or your own), start a chat, and add friends. Note: After installing the client, you should restart your device. To start using Ovi Contacts, you need a Nokia Account. Open the application and sign in, or follow the steps to create an account. |
