Can i run disc via usb???

im a noob.... i want to run a product recovery disc on my girlfriends toshiba nb100 notebook but it has no disc drive. could i connect my laptop(with cd drive) via usb and do it that way??? if so how would i do it as i dont even know how to connect the two together for simply file sharing?...?

any help would be great...thanks guys in advance.

Yes you connect CD drive just you connect and it will start if it is WINXP it will detect automatically and start.
