Redirect from Web browser to Wap browser on mobile

Hi,

Is it possible to redirect from Web browser on mobile to Wap browser through code?
If it is not possible can you please suggest workaround for this.

Hi There,

Usually there is something like additional application or coding to convert your normal web into wap based web.. Some of the web hosting also provide this services.. You could google to get more information on this.. Cheers..

My objective is
"For Ex: If the user is browsing on web browser of mobile and suddenly if the user tries to access our application link then we have to redirect to wap browser of the mobile"

Is it possible to redirect through code?

Hi,

WAP Browser and WEB Browser are basically the same.. The different is the how the contents are encode and decode..

WAP based html is much more less complicated reasons is to minimize the graphics and also to make sure the webpage are suitable for you phone screen..

Rather than redirecting your application to so call WAP browser (which basically IS your web browser on your mobile devices), you might be able to make something like the same page of your application but the screen is much more suitable for mobile browsing.. This is only my opinion..

not possible on all phones...

Btw, if ur server supports PHP, then u can use <?php include("something.php"); ?> to add something.php file in your page.. an alternative for redirection..
